Never Give Up

“Never give up, when you have the ability to achieve more.” – Kishon Prince

It is almost November and most of us are tired and drained from everything that this year has demanded of us. Our jobs, our studies, our family responsibilities or just life in general can take so much of our energy and even affect our health. But do not lose hope! It is almost the end of the year and even if you cannot go away on holiday, at least enjoy all the public holiday’s that December has to offer.

I know that it is always easier said than done when someone says ‘just hold on’ or ‘do not give up’, because when you are tired, you are tired. How do we carry on when we feel like giving up? Lailah Gifty Akita said that there is a powerful force within each of us. We should rediscover that force and use it to pull through! We have an immense gift of inner-strength. We should use it and never forget about what lies within us.

“Nothing can dim the light which shines from within.”
– Maya Angelou

The beauty of humanity is that there will be some days that we have more strength than other days and that is when we can share our strength with others who seem drained. We have the ability to lift another’s spirit and encourage them to hold on, to carry on and not to give up! Inspire your friends or a stranger to be strong and to excel in their work, to keep on studying or to simply get through the day.
